$14.99 · ~60 h · Deck Verified

A top-down roguelike shooter in which a group of misfits fight through a gun-themed dungeon in search of a weapon that can kill the past.

L1What it is

Gungeoneers dive into the Gungeon, a fortress full of living bullets and gun-worshipping cultists. At the bottom lies a gun that can kill the past, and each character has a regret to undo. Each run is randomly generated; dying sends you back to the Breach, the hub.

L2How it plays

Shoot, dodge roll through bullets (you are invincible during the roll), flip tables for cover and use blanks to clear all bullets on screen. Hundreds of guns, from normal pistols to a gun that shoots bees or a T-shirt cannon. Bosses fill the screen with patterns.

L3Pixels & sound

Detailed, funny pixel art full of gun puns, with lots of animation. The music is energetic and fits the action.

L4Coming back

Very hard but rewarding: unlock new guns, characters and shortcuts, discover secrets and floors. Several large free updates added content. Two-player local co-op with the Cultist.

L5Value & tech

Very cheap for the amount of content. Runs on anything; Verified on Steam Deck. Controller or mouse both work.
