Vampire Survivors: weapon evolutions for beginners

1How evolution works

Get a weapon to its maximum level, own the matching passive item, and open a treasure chest dropped by a boss after the 10-minute mark. The chest will evolve the weapon.

2First ones to learn

Whip + Hollow Heart = Bloody Tear. Magic Wand + Empty Tome = Holy Wand. Knife + Bracer = Thousand Edge. Garlic + Pummarola = Soul Eater. King Bible + Spellbinder = Unholy Vespers.

3Plan your slots

You have six weapon and six passive slots. Pick passives that evolve weapons you already have, rather than random ones.

4Unlock more

Many characters and weapons are unlocked by achievements. Check the collection screen for hints.
